Fibroblast Skin Tightening or Non-Surgical Face Lift
Plasma Skin Tightening is a revolutionary, non-invasive alternative treatment to traditional surgery. The treatment helps eliminate excessive tissue that causes sagging skin, unwanted wrinkles, stretch marks and even diminish scarring. It also diminishes the risk, pain and down-time associated with traditional invasive  surgery.

ABC Aesthetics is proud to be one of the first clinics in Cape Town, and one of the first few in South Africa to offer this exciting treatment.

At ABC Aesthetics we use the Ablase plasma device which is CE-registered and the safest plasma device available. Ablase noninvasive method provides a wide range of applications in dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, and gynecology. It remodels the superficial layer of skin with simultaneous tightening.
Plasma skin tightening involves a small electric arc similar to a tiny light (ionized gas). This is ideal to treat dermal and epidermal tissue, without thermal effect on the surrounding areas (avoidance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which is a common negative side effect with other devices).
This method intervene in areas, where it is difficult to use the laser or the radio frequency and surgical traditional methods.

The common name of this procedure is also called fibroblast skin tightening. Fibroblasting is a highly versatile & non-surgical procedure that’s stunningly effective in wrinkle smoothing, eyelid tightening, and eyelid hood reduction (blepharoplasty), scar alterations, and is able to treat, repair, lift & rejuvenate any area of the skin to spectacularly improve & brighten skin tone, laxity and texture, significantly tighten loose skin & dramatically reduce, inflate & plump lines & wrinkles.

This safe procedure is ideal for patients who do not wish to have a facelift surgery.

The treatment is performed without cutting, burning, or removing excess skin or fat.
The treatment is performed through minute spots made with the Ablase device at a certain distance from the skin to stimulate the instant contraction and tightening of skin fibers. Each of these spots sublimates the superficial corneocytes without affecting the basal laminae and without causing bleeding and more importantly without causing any damage to the surrounding or underlying tissue.

Downtime
The small scabs will fall off after 3 to 5 days. Most people see a noticeable result after the first treatment although some may require more than one treatment and this is subject to your personal expectation.
Patients may experience some swelling and mild discomfort in the treated area following your treatment and this may last up to three days. Any residual scabs will resolve within 5-7 days but can be covered with a liquid foundation.

We will discuss the treatment and what you can expect during your consultation.

Results are permanent and can be done once or a few times in one area depending on the result you want to achieve.
